“The event, to be held in the auditorium of the Rolex Learning Centre in celebration of its tenth anniversary, on 29 May 2021, from 9h00 to 19h00, is envisaged as a series of seven 60-minute thematic discussions, each involving two architects, either in presence or on line, and recent graduates acting as facilitators in presence.
Each discussion is structured around a topic, chosen as an opportunity for the invited guests to articulate some of the important aspects informing their architectural positions – initially by making a short but focused presentation of their work, and then engaging in a panel discussion.”

Spezialpreis 2019 für die Architektinnen Carole Pont und Céline Guibat Die diplomierten Architektinnen (ETHL) Carole Pont (Siders, 1975) und Céline Guibat (Lausanne, 1977) haben sich 2012 zusammengetan und das Architekturbüro Mijong mit Sitz in Sitten und Zürich gegründet. Zusammen mit ihrem neunköpfigen Team konzipieren, entwickeln und realisieren sie eine Vielfalt an Bauwerken in den beiden Regionen. 2015 haben sie sich mit der Gründung von Archishepherd ausserdem in den Bereich der Architekturführungen und -reisen vorgewagt. Eine ihrer nennenswerten Arbeiten im Wallis ist die Sanierung des «Café du 1er août» im Dorfzentrum von Muraz/Siders. Ihr Vorschlag zur Einrichtung eines gemütlichen, gesellschaftlichen und generationenübergreifenden Treffpunkts, der das Bestehende berücksichtigt und daraus einen neuen Mittelpunkt für Muraz schafft, ist eine sehr gelungene Antwort auf die Problematik zur Einrichtung des öffentlichen Raums im Sinne des Wohlbefindens jeder und jedes Einzelnen.
Mijong à la 1# rencontre NEXPO à Bern avec le projet Vallée Archipel.
Les Rencontres sont des réunions dans le réseau de la NEXPO, un mélange d’informations actualisées, d’échanges stimulants, de travail concentré et de détente ludique. Ils servent de jalons de différentes tailles sur le chemin menant à la NEXPO – la nouvelle Expo.

Big congratulations to the team of architects Mounir Ayoub, Vanessa Lacaille, Fabrice Aragno and Pierre Szczepski from Laboratoire d’architecture in Geneva for having been selected by Pro Helvetia to create the Swiss Pavilion exhibition at the 2020 Architecture Biennale in Venice!
Their project was chosen out of 51 applications and deals with the spatial perception of Swiss borders.

Zum 25. Mal prämierte Hochparterre die besten Bauten und Objekte in Architektur, Design und Landschaftsarchitektur. Jeweils einen Tag lang diskutierte die Jury, bis sie sich auf die Gewinnerprojekte einigten. Im Video erzählen die drei Jurypräsidentinnen Céline Guibat für die Architektur, Philomena Schwab für das Design und Rita Illien für die Landschaftsarchitektur vom Entscheidungsprozess.

Super heureuses de notre contribution pour la redéfinition de l’enveloppe pour le futur centre pour l’étude du changement des environnements alpins et polaires. Des espaces informels de rencontre en périphérique, une serre, un bâtiment en résonance avec sa fonction. Trop bien. Malheureusement sans écho! Next time! Everybody goes green!

Céline Guibat stellt im Rahmen der Eröffnung der Schweizweit Ausstellung in Hamburg ihre persönliche Sicht auf die Schweizer Architektur dar.
Die Vernissage mit einer Einführung von Andreas Ruby, Direktor des S AM Schweizerisches Architekturmuseum in Basel und einem Vortrag von Céline Guibat, mijong architecture design, Sion/Zürich findet am 20. Juni um 19:30 Uhr im AIT-ArchitekturSalon Hamburg statt.

It’s the first time in the history of the Biennale that the Swiss Pavilion was awarded the Golden Lion. Congratulations to Li Tavor, Ani Vihervaara, Alessandro Bosshard and Matthew van der Ploeg who designed this extraordinary exposition. It was great fun sharing this experience with you! I had an amazing and interesting time being part of the jury. I wish you all the best for the future.

“The 16th International Architecture Exhibition takes place in Venice from 26 May to 25 November 2018 (Preview May 24th and 25th) at the Giardini and at the Arsenale as well as at various venues in the city. The main exhibition, entitled «Freespace», is curated by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara.”
“For the first time, Pro Helvetia chose the Swiss contribution by means of a competition. Eligible for participation were architects and interdisciplinary teams operating in the field of architecture. After a two-phase competition on a selective procedure basis, Pro Helvetia decided to enthrust the realization of the Swiss participation in the 16th Architecture Biennale of Venice in 2018 to Alessandro Bosshard, Li Tavor, Matthew van der Ploeg and Ani Vihervaara with their project «Svizzera 240: House Tour». The exhibition focuses on the unfurnished interior of contemporary housing by celebrating a peculiar form of architectural representation — the «house tour».”

“In co-operation with 162 architectural practices from all regions of the country the S AM has created a visual atlas of current Swiss architecture. Switzerland is transported into the museum via large-format projections. The exhibition shows the commonalities and differences in the themes, content and formal strategies that Swiss architects focus on today.” S AM

Das Future Forum 2016 stellte eine Analyse an und vermittelte die Grundlagen der Architektur.
