Competition for the development of the village center of Chermignon

Construction of a new village center. The project redefines a village center accessible for all by integrating and locating the commune’s carpark underground. The basic idea was to re-surface the walls of the underground parking. The project reconnects the top and bottom of the vilage that was previously cut off from one another by the main road built in the 60’s, dissecting the village. The new village center hosts a convenience store, a post office and a kindergarten. The square welcomes the various manifestations of daily village life. The municipality provided the inhabitants of Chermignon a high quality infrastructure.
