Competition for a new housing proposal in Champsec

The opportunity to revitalise the Champsec district in Sion arose. The chance to densify this part of the city was gold for all parties involved. The opportunity posed two main questions: how should we inhabit this place in the long term, and how the project can fit in with the scale of the city?

The common spaces of the new complex were specially created for the inhabitants. The quality of the internal and the external spaces are interdependent; one completes other and vice-versa. A good mix of apartment typologies was offered. The ground floor opens itself to the exterior spaces.
