Retrofit and renovation

The Villa Truffer radiates from its hillside charm of bygone times. The committed and responsible handling of the historic building fabric ensures that the uniqueness of the building and its surroundings remains intact and at the same time meet the demands of the new owners on the quality of living. The remodeling and redevelopment represent a reflected work according to monument protection.
On the ground floor, the rooms are originally accessed through the staircase. The new connecting doors and openings improve the circulation of the rooms. The kitchen finds its place in the expansion of the living room. The color and material choice is based on the existing substance. Based the requirements of the monument protection, the original colours in the rooms were thematised.
The shutters outside, as originally made of wood, were replaced. The roof has been isolated and the typical dormers, sculptures and ornament lovingly refreshed.
The thermo-technical renovation proves to be the central theme. The fascination for existing cultural assets is the key to the sustainable solution of this task.
